July 01 Microsoft releases IMAPI v2 update for Windows XP and Windows Server 2003Last week Microsoft has released an update for the downlevel operating systems (XP and newer) that brings native DVD recording support currently available in Vista to these operating systems. The update is available from the following KB page: http://support.microsoft.com/Default.aspx?kbid=932716. Notice that there are 4 separate downloads - Windows XP SP2/Windows Server 2003, 32 bit/64 bit. This update enables ISO Recorder to perform DVD operations on the older OS. I did not abandon it and the new build is in the works. However I also just started a new job and the things have been just a bit stressful. I have received a lot of good feedback from the users of the current build of the Vista edition, and I am working on incorporating it in the application. |
